Cleveland’s Department of Port Control, which owns Hopkins and Burke Lakefront airports, filed the suit Oct. 3 in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.

📰 BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: AI Meets Real Estate Matchmaking in Northeast Ohio
A new era of real estate connections has arrived in Northeast Ohio.
REMPY, a free AI-powered platform founded by Joe Marion, helps buyers, sellers, and agents connect based on personalized data — no listings or cold calls required.
The platform launched in September 2025 and is now expanding nationwide. Its goal: to make property transactions more human through smarter technology.
“Buying or selling a home is deeply personal,” said Marion. “Our approach isn’t about disruption — it’s about restoring trust and making meaningful connections again.”
By analyzing user questionnaires, REMPY acts like a matchmaker for real estate, pairing clients and agents who align in communication style, needs, and goals.

For Realtors: AI-driven matchmaking could reduce lead fatigue and increase conversion quality — especially for agents specializing in relationship-based transactions.

For Buyers & Sellers: This tool eliminates the need for aimless online searching or aggressive outreach. Instead, users get curated matches tailored to their intent and personality.

For Investors: Platforms like REMPY hint at a broader shift — tech tools that enhance connection quality over listing volume, potentially transforming client acquisition strategies.
